Digital Leader 2017
Lewis won The Mobile Innovation Award for his charity A World With Friends. Lewis became a Digital Leader at 16 years old.
In January 2018 The Medtronic Foundation Flew Lewis to Hawaii to receive his first ever global award 'The Bakken Invitation.' As a Bakken Honouree Lewis has been give an incredible platform to help disabled and sick young people all around the world.
Lewis's $20,000 grant from the Medtronic Foundation will help A World With Friends fund future proms. “The proms have such a positive effect on the young people's lives, giving them something to look forward to, improving their mental health and wellbeing, and most importantly, making a friend. Many children and their parents who attend with them say the night is life changing.”
Daily Mirror and ITV NHS Hero Award 2018
This week Lewis was incredibly honoured to receive The NHS Heroes Special Recognition Award. In a ceremony hosted by Paul O'Grady. Lewis was thrilled to be presented with his award by Tinie Tempah and meet Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall.
Radio 1 Teen Hero 2016
Being named Radio 1 Teen Hero of the year was a huge shock as well as an incredible honour. I went to Wembley to receive my award from Nick Grimshaw in front of 10,000 people.
This amazing award not only gave me a massive boost to keep working harder but gave me an amazing platform to use to help make A World With Friends bigger and better and to make sure 'Everyone has a Friend'.
